We will begin campus-wide goal setting with administrator classroom visits after Thanksgiving Break. Please have conversations with your team members about how goal setting should look as we head into the spring semester. The article below provides a great vehicle to get the discussion going.

Kristin Ernst - November Staff Member of the Month

Congratulations to Kristin Ernst for being selected as our Staff Member of the Month for October. Some kudos for Kristin:

  • Kristin is always going the extra mile for her students. She is a great role model and a great team lead.
  • Kristin is working tirelessly to design and implement a new reading curriculum, and lead the 7th grade team. Despite her many responsibilities she always has a cheerful outlook which she spreads to her students and to other teachers!
  • Kristin is a great team leader. She is thorough and efficient. She also has done a wonderful job coordinating writers workshop. The kids love and I know they learn so much about themselves as writers. Besides that, Kristin is a great co-worker. She is always available to talk and has a positive attitude.
  • Kristin has a passion for Language Arts that shows in everything she does as a teacher.
  • A consummate professional, Kristin successfully leads her team to academic success every year.

Awesome job, Kristin! We are all so very proud of the great work you do each and every day. Your hard work is paying off as you are making a huge difference at Otto! Congrats!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am truly honored to work with such an amazing staff. Best wishes to each of you for a joyous and well-deserved Thanksgiving Break with your family and friends.
