ELL Parent Engagement Newsletter
Vol. I - February 2021
Questions about this newsletter?
Welcome to our very first ELL Parent and Community Engagement Newsletter!
Welcome, ESOL families!
Our ESOL team's goal is to educate ELL families regarding their parent rights and the services provided to support ELL students in our schools.
With the support of your child’s teacher, school administration, and staff, we believe your children will achieve their academic goals. We recognize that families play an important role in their students' academic success, and we want to advocate for you and your student.
We value your partnership and invite you to provide input and participate in the planning of your student’s academic journey.
As your ESOL Parent Advocate, I look for opportunities to provide you with resources, information, and workshops that help you make important decisions about your child’s education.
My priority is to ensure that you are aware of academic programs, services, and resources available to you and your student. To do so, I will be sharing important information, events such as Parent Leadership Meetings, and happenings through this newsletter. Also, stay tuned for student recognitions throughout our district!
Stay in touch and be well,
