Our students rocked!
Another group of students demonstrated their skills in hydroponics. As part of a partnership with Boston College and under the care of science content lead teacher Danielle Hughes a number of our middle and high school students are learning the science of indoor plant and vegetable growing.
Scholarship provided to 2019 graduate
In a recent ceremony held at the school graduate Irelida Pires was presented the first Robert Louis Stephens Memorial Scholarship.
Robert Louis Stephens brought his family to Boston in 1969, in search of a better life and education for his children. Later in life, he became an employee of Boston Public Schools; and did he love his job! He went to work each day with joy and pride as he worked hard to provide for his wife and three children, always indicating that he wanted his children to get a good education, better than what he had. This pursuit of education passed on to the grand children as well. In April of 2019, Robert passed away after a long battle with cancer. Even during his illness, he was an encourager, instilling in his family to work hard and be givers. In his loving memory, his wife and children give this scholarship in his name to a deserving student to aid in the financial cost of getting an education. In this way, they hope to carry out his legacy of encouraging education even beyond the family, to the community.

PRE-SEASON Patriots Game! GUESTS OF JOSTENS AND THE PATRIOTS!
Thank you Jostens and Patriots for hosting DSA
For many of our students it was a first trip to Gillette Stadium. Once there we were on the field for pre-game warm ups and pictures. During the game we sat in a luxury suite. It was quite a night! Thank you Ryan Ford from Jostens and the Patriots.
