Welcome to our new 1st grade teacher, Ms. Jameika Parker!

Ms. Parker is excited to be teaching 1st grade this year! Mrs. Edith Parker will be her teacher assistant! Ms. Parker joins the RES family from Clement Elementary where she served her school as a teacher assistant! We are lucky to have her here to support our little leopards!

Meet Mrs. Owens! She is our new 1st Grade TA!

Mrs. Brittany Owens comes to us from Tom Thumb! She already knows many of our students from her experience there! She is excited to be working with Ms. Cannady in her class!

Welcome Mrs. Hall! Our new Instructional Coach!

Mrs. Amber Hall comes to us from Salemburg Elementary where she was a 4th grade reading teacher. She also taught 1st grade in Cumberland County! She will be our new instructional coach and she is so excited to be working with our teachers this year! Mrs. Hall has a nine month old daughter who is the light of her world! Welcome Mrs. Hall!

Mrs. Felicia Bradshaw is so excited to be back working with our students! She LOVES the little leopard family and we are luck to have her with us this year! She is coming back to work with groups of students to inhance their reading skills!

Meet Mrs. Poper! Administrative Resident

Mrs. Poper is a native of Nash County. She attended Meredith College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a secondary teaching License. She has been married to her husband, Nick, for four years. Together they have a two year old daughter, Tallie, and a furbaby Bella.

Mrs. Poper taught high school Math at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School for 7 years before coming to Sampson County where she continued to teach High School Math. For the last four years, she has served SCS as a High School Instructional Coach.

In 2020, Mrs. Poper began working on her Masters in School Administration as a fellow of the NCSU North Carolina Leadership Academy (NCLA). As part of her program, she will complete a year long residency at RES!

Mrs. Poper's duties will be those of the AP. Mrs. Poper said, "I am so excited to be joining the administrative team at Roseboro Elementary School. I value working together as a team to learn more about the elementary setting. I look forward to a great year of continued student growth as a Leopard!"
