Every Day Math/Envisions Unit 4 Multiplication and Division

We have begun our multiplication unit. We will continue to investigate arrays and repeated addition. I will be using Everyday Math as well as Envisions Math to teach Multiplication. It is important that your child complete daily math homework assignments to reinforce skills we have begun in class.

This week we will finish up Multiplication strategies and begin looking at division. We will continue to spiral through previously learned facts as well as identify the relationship between multiplication and division.

We learned how to login to www.Multiplcation.com and the kids love it!. username: firstnamelastinitial46342 password : lunch number. practicing facts with flash cards, online games or timed tests is a great way to learn facts. Mastered facts should be as fluent as recognizing your name.

At Home Facts Practice! Today we will begin taking home 1 sheet of math fact practice every night in addition to our daily homework. On Friday, we will take a timed quiz in class. Those that score 80% or higher on the Friday Quiz will not receive the weekly math packet the following week.
