The Week in Snapshots

Textbook and Materials Return Information

As we near the end of the school year, we have created a schedule for students to return textbooks, Chromebooks, etc.


Classic Students: In most cases, you will return items with your classes. Teachers will be signing up for specific times to do this during the school day. Students are able to return textbooks and other materials not in use beginning Thursday, June 10th.


Virtual Students: You may begin to return materials no longer needed beginning June 10th. Seniors will need to turn in items no later than 2:30pm on Tuesday, June 15th. For students currently in grades 9-11, the following dates are designated for materials return:

  • Monday, June 21st: Last names A-L, 8:30am-2:30pm
  • Tuesday, June 22nd, Last names M-Z, 8:30am-2:30pm

Class of 2021 Information

We have created an FAQ to answer as many end-of-year and graduation questions as possible.


All need-to-know information for seniors can also be found on the Class of 2021 Webpage.


WE WILL HOST ONE LAST SENIOR MEETING next week Friday at 10:30 am to cover all of the specific details our graduates will need to know heading into Graduation week. Zoom links will be sent to seniors next week.


Also, don't forget to pick up your SENIOR YARD SIGN at the Finance Office!

Senior Awards Night

Our Virtual Senior Awards Night will be Thursday, June 10th at 7pm. Invitations were sent out to award recipients this afternoon -- check your school email account. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Faraimo at eleasalofaraimo@vistausd.org

Yearbooks are Set to Arrive Next Week

Our Yearbook team is expecting our shipment of the 2020-2021 MVHS yearbooks to arrive early next week. Our tentiative distribution plan is detailed below:


Classic Students:

  • Pick up yearbooks just outside of room 908 at LUNCH Tuesday-Friday next week


Virtual Students:

  • Pick up yearbooks in room 908 AFTER SCHOOL (2:30-3:00) Tuesday-Friday next week.

Timberwolf Registration Days for 2021-2022

MVHS is excited to announce that we will return to our traditional, in-person, Timberwolf Registration Days for all students ahead of the 2021-2022 school year. At Timberwolf Days, students turn in key paperwork, have their portrait taken for the yearbook, purchase ASB cards, parking permits, yearbooks, etc., and get their preliminary class schedules.


Below are key details:


  • Aug. 5th - Seniors
  • Aug. 6th - Juniors
  • Aug. 9th - Sophomores
  • Aug. 10th - Frosh
  • Aug. 11th - Make-ups

**Hours are 7:30am-11:00am daily


Link Crew Orientation - for incoming Frosh

  • Aug. 12th -8am-12pm
