Open Office Hours
The Native American Cultural Liaison, Jordan Zickermann, will continue to hold Summer office hours for all Indigenous students from all grade levels. The purpose of these office hours are to provide a designated time where students can stay connected with our program supports.
Our program calendar on the District Webpage has been updated with all open office hours for the categories listed above. For a tutorial on how to connect to these office hours via Google Hangouts Meet - please click HERE.
Appointment slots can be used by all students, families, and staff and serve as a platform to engage with and support the needs of our Indigenous community during this time.To schedule a 1 on 1 appointment with the Cultural Liaison, please click this button below.
American Indian Honoring Ceremony 2019-2020
In the past, the Indian Education Program at WBLAS has held an annual traditional honoring ceremony for our K-12 students. This ceremony has brought out students, family members, teachers, administration, community members, traditional singers and drummers, dancers, and others. It has been a highlight for our students in honoring their successes and celebrating their progress in a culturally-sacred way.
Thank you to the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee and District Level Leadership for collaborating with the Indian Education Program to ensure our culturally-sacred ceremony continued with necessary COVID-19 procedures in place.
Take a glimpse into our 2019-2020 ceremony. Congratulations Graduates!!!
