Dear Mason Proud Dads,
I can’t believe it's February already; the 2016-17 school year is going by so fast. Now is a great time for us to get our Proud Dad’s program off the ground, as things are finally starting to settle down just a little at Mason. Earlier in the year, we met to talk about how our Mason Dads could make the biggest impact possible on our learners! While we can’t implement everything we talked about this year, there are four events that I thought would be good for us to commit to at this time. I also had the pleasure of surveying some of our students and parents and they are ecstatic about the possibilities. These events are very doable and will make a big impact on our student body with the right amount of support.
Below are the four Proud Dad events that I would like to propose to everyone. Please consider signing up for at least one event but you are more than welcome to sign up as many times as your heart desires.
Mother/Son Dance - March 10th 7-8:30 pm
Movie/Game/STEM Night- March 24th 6-8 pm
Tin Can Auction - May 13th - we need dads to sign up to Grill from 1-4 pm
Grounds Day - May 20th 9-1 pm
Click Below to access the signup genius to sign up.... We are asking for at least 7 dads to help with each event.

We also need your help making sure our Disability awareness workshop doesn’t get cancelled due to lack of parental support. Please consider signing up for that as well.

Thanks,
Roy

DISABILITY WORKSHOP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
In order for us to bring this workshop to your school, we rely on the help of parent volunteers. You don’t need any special talents or training to volunteer – just a love for kids and a desire to promote empathy and understanding. If you’re able to help us with this, please fill out the form below and return it to your child’s teacher.
There is a volunteer training on Monday, February 27th at 7:00pm at Trombly Elementary. Please plan to attend this training, as we can’t train the morning of the workshop.
The Disability Awareness Workshop will be coming to MASON on Tuesday, March 21st.
