The language for identifying/naming COMPASSION in "The Self-Awakened Child" series by Jonathan Wolff:
- When I care about other people as I care about myself, I am feeling Compassion.
- When I see that other people are feeling hurt or sad and I do something to help them feel better, I am acting with Compassion.
Free Books for 1st grade
All 1st grade students will be receiving three, free books to add to their personal collection on Tuesday, March 15th.
Everyone is invited to visit the RIF website for literacy resources.

St. Patrick's Items For Sale
The cost of items range from $.25-$2.00 and may be purchased by your students in the multi-purpose room (MPR) during morning arrival and P.E. classes.

Counselors' Corner
Classes are learning about Peace and Compassion in the world, and this week, Primary classes and some Lower Elementary classes heard the story The Breaking News. We discussed how we can make big differences and be the light in our world. Next week, Upper Elementary and Erdkinder will receive lessons on peace and community-building.
We are here for all students, and love serving our community. Resources are available on the School Counseling Website including a list of mental health professionals and relaxation activities. Please reach out if you need anything.
