What are we learning?
Social Studies
Class is doing a Landforms Project! If you need the letter and directions on how to do the project please see link ( Google Doc) below pictures.
We will discuss Presidents' Day and we will learn facts about George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and we will compare both
We will continue to learn about author's purpose: entertain, inform and persuade for two more weeks.
Writing
We will continue to work on Personal Narratives and we will focus in Revising and Editing our writing drafts in class. Also, we will write facts about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln in the next two weeks.
Math
We are going back again to Addition and Subtraction strategies and Word Problem problems involving addition and subtracting. We will focus on Doubles and Doubles plus One as a strategy to solve word problems.
We will use IPAC/PSP to solve Word problems. We will also review during our morning work coins and fractions.
Science
We talked about our Natural resources the last weeks and now we are going to learn about conserving our resources. We will talk about reducing, reusing and recycling.
This Week we will have LA and Reading Spanish and Math and Science in English.
