Your WestWood PTC Update

April 2019

Already after Spring Break... how does that happen?!

Family Fun Night Carnival was a fun success! Thank you for the great turn-out and amazing Silent Auction!!! The kids love the event and it is fun to see our families enjoying the night together.

WestWood Restaurant Nights continue to have your support - thank you! Please join us at our remaining upcoming nights at Wendy's, Chipotle, and Buffalo Wild Wings! Details below.

Conference Dinners will be brought in for the staff on their extra long days/nights at school. You can sign up to contribute items to have ready by 3:45pm on April 11th and 18th. We also still need HELP with the setup and cleanup on BOTH of these nights! The teachers love this - thanks for all you do! Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B044DAFAB2E5-spring6

UPDATE: With conferences canceled, the dinner will be rescheduled once we know the new schedule and the SUG can be updated!

Butter Braid Pickup Night (also a conference night for some!) will be this Thursday, April 11th, 4-6pm in the cafeteria. We met our sales goal - thanks for making that happen! Please remember to pick up your orders! Classroom winners will be announced soon and will celebrate with some BINGO FUN with Mrs. Zwolenski!

UPDATE AGAIN: We are moving butter braid delivery/pickup to TUESDAY, APRIL 16th, 4-6pm in the cafeteria. Thanks for your patience - sorry for any inconvenience!

PLANNING AHEAD FOR 2019-2020: PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE HELP!

It is never too early to plan ahead! The PTC has a number of open positions available in the 2019-2020 school year. Please consider offering your time and joining us to do great work for our school!

We have created a SignUp Genius to help create awareness about the number of open positions, and it includes a description of the timeline and effort involved too. Let us know if you have questions about any of the openings.

It is especially helpful to fill these positions before the end of the year to assist in the transitions and ensure a smooth start next year! Also note that positions that are NOT filled will mean those events/activities will not be able to happen next year. Hopefully we can continue to offer our assistance to the school and our fun activities for the children!

Peer pressure welcome - forward to your friends! Thank you for the donation of your time!!!
