Virginia
Virginia was founded in 1607 by British explorers. The cash crop in Virginia was tobacco. The colony was created through a royal charter. The initial population was 2500 and grew to 10000 in ten years. There was no established religion. The Indian tribes located in Virginia consisted of Cherokee, Manahoac, Meherrin, Monacan, Nahyssan, Nottaway, Occaneechi, and Powhatan.
North Carolina
North Carolina was founded in 1653 by the Lord Proprietors from Virginia. North Carolina's "cash crop" wasn't actually a crop. It was sap from pine trees called "naval stores". This was used in ship building up north. The population at the first settlement was 1000, but rapidly grew to about 3850 in ten years. It was a proprietary colony with an Angelican religious establishment. Some of the Indian tribes were Cheraw, Cherokee, Eno, etc.
South Carolina
South Carolina was created in 1663 by eight English nobles that had a Royal Charter from King Charles II.The population was about 200 when first settled, and rapidly grew, with over a thousand in ten years. It had an Angelican religious establishment, and produced lots of indigo and rice to trade. Some of the Indian tribes included Catawba, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Eno, and many more.
Georgia
Georgia was established in 1732 as a royal charter, which was planned to be used as a place for debtors of Europe were to be sent. This didn't work, and it eventually became a sort of "buffer" between the Spanish and English. It's main cash crop was rice. It's religion was Angelican and there were 2021 people initially, which grew in ten years to 5200. Some of the Indian tribes were Apalachee, Cherokee, and Chickasaw.
Maryland
Founded in 1634 by George Calvert on a proprietary charter. It had no established religion and corn was the main cash crop. Some Indian tribes include Accohannock, Assateague, and Piscataway. The population started at 583 and grew to over 4000 in ten years.
