1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Ground Mustard

  • 2 teaspoons Spice Islands® Poppy Seed

  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Minced Onion

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup Mazola® Corn Oil

  • 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar

  • 1 (10 ounce) bag fresh spinach

  • 1/4 cup pecans, toasted

  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion

  • 1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries

Hisory of Spinach

Spinach comes from the Middle East. It was brought to Spain somewhere between 800 A.D and 1200 A.D. There are 3 different varieties of spinach, savoy, which is curly and dark, flat or smoothed, usually found in cans, frozen, or baby food, or semi-savoy, which is slightly curly.
