FWISD Flag Football

Poly HS

The Poly Varsity Flag Football Team had a great time during the Women's Flag Football Symposium/Showcase this weekend. Reinhardt University offered Poly's Uwera Esperance a scholarship on the field before the event was completed. THAT WAS SO AWESOME TO SEE AND WATCH!!! PURO POLY!

January 6- 8: The Heights boys team had a strong showing at the 37th Annual Alamo Heights Tournament in San Antonio. Heights defeated defending 6A State Champs, San Antonio Lee HS and defending 4A State Champs, Boerne HS.

Southwest HS: Girls

The JV soccer team played their first game in 2 years!!! It was a hard-fought battle against Lake Worth! Special shoutout to Yarelie Carrillo, our 1st-year goalkeeper for her 17saves!

Paschal HS

Grant Chapa, Paschal Sophomore swimmer , broke yet another record.

He will qualify to compete at the UIL State Swimming Championships this year!

Benbrook HS

Benbrook lady wrestlers took second at the Frisco duals. Bella Arranda, Jessy Coons, and Calliope Haefner all went 5-0 on the day.

The Arlington Heights HS Cheerleaders competed in the Grapevine Mustang Invitational this past Saturday! Both the UIL Team and JV Team did amazing and came away with 1st Place. Next up STATE on Thursday Jan 13th and Nationals on Jan 22-23! Ayyy Heights!
