DP Spirit wear!

Crusader Parents-

DP Spirit Wear season has begun!!! This year, the DP Athletic Association is offering various Spirit Wear items via an on-line ordering platform using credit/debit card only. We cannot offer returns or exchanges. The items all fit similar to years past or even when compared to our standard gym uniform shirts.

There are (2) versions of the "school approved" hoodie that can be worn in school every day. The solid hoodie in blue or grey has both youth and adult sizes, while the blue tie-dye type hoodie only comes in adult sizes.

The spirit wear store will only be open from Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 through Thursday, October 14th, 2021, at which time it will close for the season. Please be sure to get all your items ordered promptly.

COVID has slowed the supply chain significantly so we anticipate orders will arrive direct to the Athletic Association in early November. We tried to choose items/colors that we knew were the most likely to remain available quickly and a delivery method that minimized soaring shipping costs.

Just a reminder that masks are required to be worn by all of our students and staff. They need to be ONE solid color. Masks must be worn covering the nose and the mouth. Most of our students are doing a great job and don't even mind wearing them! Some students, however, are struggling with this more. It tends to be our middle school school students more than others. For this reason, a student that is not wearing their mask properly will be given an out of uniform slip each time they are not properly wearing their mask. Three slips and they will receive a detention. Detentions will be assigned and will take place after school.

Please see below from the CDC on proper face masks!

Please send your child to school EACH DAY with 2 clean and well fitting face masks

State lawmakers are meeting on October 19 and they are considering Repealing the Parental Notice of Abortion Act. We must act to prevent this! 72% of all Illinois voters agree that parents

or an adult guardian should be informed if their child is seeking an abortion, yet the Illinois General Assembly continues to threaten the repeal of Illinois' Parental Notice of Abortion law.

Please join us in contacting your state legislators to support our God-given right to support and protect our children. Go to www.ilcatholic.org to read the Illinois bishops letter and to find out how to contact your state legislator to defeat this bill. And, please ask another family member or friend to help join the effort to defeat this bill.
