Principal Message

Dear Lane Families,

Starting Monday, March 4th, students and staff will work with the Peace Center. Students and staff will utilize a peace circle for discussion throughout the day. The circle builds a sense of belonging. Currently, community circles are used during base group typically on Mondays and Fridays. The circle builds a sense of belonging, trust, and respect among students emphasizes inclusiveness and tolerance.

I also wanted to share the video above and raise awareness around childhood cancer. On June 1st, I will ride Trek 100. This year I will be riding for Mackenzie, a student at Hoover. If you would like to ride, donate, or become involved just let me know. Otherwise, feel free to access the link.

Honor Flight Experience

On Friday, March 1 the 8th grade class had a presentation about the Honor Flight. Not only was there a documentary video explaining the program, but there were also veterans present sharing their personal experiences.
