An Opportunity for Almsgiving
(Photo Taken Prior to COVID-19 Restrictions)
The Southeast Rochester Catholic Community Supper Program has provided a warm, nutritious meal and hospitality to some of the most vulnerable in our neighborhoods. The Supper Program has always welcomed young adults to engage in this gift of service. If you or someone you know is interested, click here.
A Year of Saint Joseph
Marking the 150th anniversary of St. Joseph being declared patron of the universal church, Pope Francis proclaimed a yearlong celebration dedicated to the foster father of Jesus on December 8, 2020. To learn more about this year dedicated to Saint Joseph, check out the Diocese of Rochester's Year of St. Joseph website here. This time we share a recent Lenten retreat video from Saint John's Seminary, the home for many of the Diocese of Rochester's seminarians. Fr. Michael MacInnis, Director of Human Formation, speaks about how we can bring St. Joseph into our prayer and what we can learn from St. Joseph about how to pray.

The Twentysomething Handbook

Let’s face it: adulting isn’t easy. That’s why young-adult minister Nora Bradbury-Haehl created this essential guide to help young adults avoid the mistakes, missteps, and financial failures that took others years to learn. Join Nora and young adult ministers from the Diocese of Albany for a discussion about this book. It promises to be a time of encouragement and inspiration. For more information, click here.

Called & Gifted- COMING SOON!
All of us have something to discern! The Called & Gifted program provides valuable tools for discerning how to use the gifts or charisms God has given us to live out our vocations. The program will explore what those charisms are and what they look like in action. Someone out there is waiting for what you have been given to give! The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis is looking to form a cohort of young adults who are interested in going through this program. More details to come! If you or someone you know is interested in participating, click here.
