Photoshop Emblems and Logos

This presentation was created by: Matt McCullough

What is Photoshop?

Photoshop is a photo editing program mainly used to edit and fix blemishes on photo images. You can add or remove faces from pictures, distort images, and make people fat or skinny. The opportunities are almost limitless in Photoshop.

Specifically What I Learned and Created in Photoshop

M-M Logo

I used the fx tool, listed as bevel and imboss to create the 3d effect on the photo below in Photoshop. You can change the size, spread and depth to your likings to get the "perfect" image.

Day by Day Creations in Photoshop

At first I stuck to making simple, yet elegant designs such as various logos and emblems. Most of them had little to no meaning and usually were created out of randomness. Soon after though, I realized that the emblems I was creating needed a purpose. Instead of making countless emblems with no particular meaning, I decided to create ones for friends and myself. Some were for individual people while others like the "Eclipse" logo below were created for Josh's clan. The larger photograph shown above of the "M-M" logo is one of my all-time favorites because of the color and the way I placed the letters.

Above is an emblem I made recently in Photoshop for myself. I am enlisted in Josh's clan, Eclipse.

Below I made a logo for my Dad's company, Panhandle Slim, which is located in Fort Worth and sells western attair wear.

The reason there is a blank white space is because it is a border for a video gameplay. I made it for Josh's Youtube channel.

Above is another Coppell Cowboys logo I made in Photoshop which didn't take long at all. Actually it was quite simple to create.

Below is another Eclipse Logo I made in Photoshop for Josh's clan.
