Florida Alpha Delta Kappa Vol 1 January 2023
President's Message
Dear Sisters,
Happy New Year!
As one year ends and another begins, we take time to reflect on the significant moments of the past year and look ahead to what may come in the new year. This past year brought many challenges for us like hurricanes, floods, illness, loss of loved ones and stress at our jobs. The year brought joys as well like grandbabies, marriages, and time spent with loved ones. In Florida Alpha Delta Kappa we had several bright spots. First, we initiated more new members than we did in 2021. Our state convention was held in person and was a great celebration of the biennium. We also hosted the Gulf Region Conference in Jacksonville. Over 200 sisters attended virtual officer training in August. And, our Adhoc Committee for Collegiate Clubs has everything in place to charter Florida's first Collegiate Club at the University of Central Florida.
Looking ahead, 2023 looks to have a bright beginning with celebrating our 70th anniversary as a state organization and the chartering ceremony of the our collegiate club.
What does 2023 have in store for you? How about your chapter? I encourage you to shine the light of Florida Alpha Delta Kappa throughout 2023 by inviting prospective members, venture beyond the chapter level and attend a District, State or International meeting, and continue the many altruistic projects that bring light to others.
Liz

Scholarship House January 2023
Dear Sisters;
Southern Scholarship Foundation has once again chosen the Alpha Delta Kappa house as its
example of a typical SSF house. We are featured on the SSF home page. We
were chosen over 26 other houses in the state.
This is the 3rd or 4th time that SSF has honored us over the last 10
years and only reinforces our status as the most sought after house on
the FSU campus. Click on the link below to take a tour of the house.
