Positive Parenting Tips for Healthy Child Development
As children grow into early childhood, their world will begin to open up. They will become more independent and begin to focus more on adults and children outside of the family. They will want to explore and ask about the things around them even more. Their interactions with family and those around them will help to shape their personality and their own ways of thinking and moving. During this stage, children should be able to ride a tricycle, use safety scissors, notice a difference between girls and boys, help to dress and undress themselves, play with other children, recall part of a story, and sing a song.

Health and Safety Information
If Your Child is Sick
Each morning before sending your child to school, please perform a daily health check. Please take your child's temperature - if it is 100* or higher, keep them home. If they exhibit any symptoms on the COVID-19 Student Checklist below, please keep them home.
PLEASE keep your child home if you think that they are experiencing any symptoms outlined in the COVID documents below. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students. Please do your part to help us ensure the safest learning environment possible for our littlest learners!
Car Drop Off / Pick Up
Masks are REQUIRED
- During drop-off, please help your child put their mask on before exiting your car. If after multiple attempts the child will not wear the mask, please loop it around their wrist so our staff knows that they DO have a mask. We will work on mask-wearing throughout the day.
- If you forget your child's mask, please park and see Marie in the front office. We will not be providing masks on a daily basis, but are understanding that this is a new process!
- PLEASE send an extra mask or two in a Ziplock bag in your child's backpack. Accidents happen and we want to ensure each child has a back-up mask. If for some reason your child goes through both masks in the same day, we will provide a disposable one-time use mask until they go home.
- If your child has a documented medical reason and cannot wear a mask, we must have a mask exemption form and a medical note from your child's doctor on file. Please speak with your child's teacher individually.
- If you have questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher directly.
