New Farm! Aguilar Acres
Please welcome Alfonso and Nikki Aguilar of Aguilar Acres to our family of growers and producers!! Aguilar Acres is a veteran-owned and operated in Homer, GA. They are a small family farm focused on producing the highest quality food for their family and our community.
They practice low-stress animal handling techniques and pasture rotation to keep our livestock thriving and happy. They raise purebred Katahdin hair lamb. They produce a milder flavor(Less gamey) meat than wool-producing lamb. Their lamb is 100% grass-fed from start to finish and never fed any grain.
They currently have chops, stew meat, ground lamb, shanks, leg of lamb, and spare ribs available. You can order their products on the website either under Meat section - Lamb or on their Co-op Vendor Store at https://www.livingwellga.com/store/aguilar-acres-llc/
We're excited to have more pasture-raised lamb back on the market!!

Easy way to find all the group buy items in 1 place is in the Menu click the category Group Buys Or you can click this link https://www.livingwellga.com/store/living-well-farmers-market/ They are also in each individual subcategory as well.
Group Buys this Weekend:
- Wilderness Family Naturals - organic coconut oils, healthy oils, cacao, pantry items
- TerraSoul Superfoods - organic raw nuts (sproutable), spices, dried fruits
- Starwest Botanicals - Organic spices, dried herbs, extracts

New soaps
Romance Garden -Truly kind to your skin with organic Aloe juice, calendula infused Olive Oil and coconut oil, Rose kaolin clay, and shea butter! They are beautiful to look at and the scent is just wonderful with and essential oil blend of geranium, ylang-ylang, sweet orange, sandalwood, jasmine, and others.
Wintermint Rosemary - Organic Aloe juice, calendula infused Olive Oil and coconut oil, Blue clay, and shea butter! They are beautiful to look at and the scent is just wonderful with Rosemary, Peppermint, and Spearmint essential oils!
Coconutty - Lavender and Unscented - Formulated for skin cleansing leaving extra (unsaponified) coconut oil in the bar. I recommend this bar for folks with oily skin, persons with dry skin may find it too drying. This soap carries a nice lavender aroma, but if you prefer unscented, the market carries our unscented version. Creamy soap (made with coconut milk!)
It will be a nice additional Valentine's gift for your sweetheart!
PLEASE HELP! Volunteers Needed at pick up!
Volunteer schedule until end of February. Please click link below if you can help!
Please consider volunteering during market pick up. I can’t run the market without your help! Shifts are 1 hour long and go by really fast. It's a great opportunity to meet and help your fellow members!
Thank you Veronica, Lynne, Ruthie, and Kelly for volunteering last Wednesday! We couldn't have the co-op without our amazing volunteers!!
If you are interested in volunteering but unsure exactly what that involves, please let Nora know and she will do a quick "volunteer orientation" with you on a day/time that you pick up.
