NC Weekly Announcements

11/30/15 - December is here!

Important Yearbook Announcement! - LAST DAY for Lower Price

If you haven't ordered your yearbook yet, DON'T DELAY! Today, November 30th, is the LAST DAY to order your yearbooks for just $45. Starting tomorrow, December 1st, the price increases to $50.

Also, if you have any pictures you'd like to turn in for the yearbook, please send them in on a flash drive or disk. Please label the folders with the teacher's name and event. Also include your NAME and number so we can return it to you.

To notify our yearbook coordinator, Minnie Carrasco, that you are dropping off pictures and/or you'd like to submit pictures another way (e.g. Dropbox, personal website, photo bucket, etc.), please email her at or call/text at 714-493-7733. She's also happy to answer any questions you may have!

Easy Money!

  • Scrip Orders: The December Scrip orders are due to the office by Wednesday, 12/2. The order will be entered THAT DAY, so make sure the orders come directly to the office so we can receive them all by the end of the day Wednesday.
  • Disney Matching Grant: Disney employees--take note that NCSA has officially registered with the Disney Matching Grant program! You may now donate to NCSA and Disney will match the grant accordingly. Thanks to the employee(s) who forwarded this opportunity to us!
  • Amazon Smile: As you do your CyberMonday shopping, remember that Amazon offers a percentage of all eligible purchases (which is about everything as far as I can tell!) to an organization of your choice. Just go to and search for Nohl Canyon School Association to support us!

Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Feedback Needed!

Part of the District's LCAP is to take into consideration parent/community and other stakeholder input (including students and teachers!) when determining how to best use funds for schools and the district as a whole. Your input is requested! Please take just a few minutes to answer several questions about the quality of your child's education. Note that the rating scale shows "Strongly Disagree" on the left and "Strongly Agree" on the right. Follow this link to provide your input:
