Dragon Weekly
Week of January 4
Welcome Back Dragons!
We begin 2021 with great hopes for a bright and rewarding year. While we do not control our circumstances, we do control our response, our R factor. Our R factor is stronger than Covid, as was proven when we reopened school, implementing new health and safety protocols, and preparing for remote learning.
We must choose to stay strong through this next semester. There is hope as vaccines arrive but we must not let down our guard. It is as important now as ever before to screen health each day, wash hands, sanitize often, distance, and wear masks for your own protection and to protect others. The Arkansas Department of Health expects the number of Covid cases to peak in March.
We look forward to the days ahead when we can gather in person, shake hands, sit next to one another, and share big smiles!
Our strong R factor today will see us through, and we develop new strengths and skills due to the adversity.
Together we honor our past through our values and traditions.
We build our present through teamwork and collaboration.
We create our future through creativity and innovation.
We will start strong in 2021, stay strong even when it gets hard, and we know it will.....and we will finish strong, teaching and learning each day while we support health and safety for each other.
