PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
If you are motivated to be a good soccer player, you are required to practice. That means spending a lot of time with a ball at your feet. Practice dribbling, shooting, and juggling with the ball. Over a period of time, you will notice improvement in your play. You need to be comfortable with a soccer ball, not awkward and clumsy. Just remember: practice makes perfect!
FIND A MENTOR
In order for you to kick off in the right path, you need someone who will teach you how to play soccer. In other words, you are in need of a coach. Your coach will give you tips and lessons in soccer, that help you when on the field. Since they have more experience, they can tell you the skills you need to gain in order to be successful on the field. Keep in mind that they are the key to your improvement. Your coach will push you to the limit and will tire you to great extent, but you will thank them in the future.
WATCH THE GAME TO PLAY THE GAME
For you to reach a certain level in soccer, you need to watch how older and mature people play the game. Watching experienced athletes play soccer helps you play at a greater and higher level of soccer. You notice players using communication, ball control, set plays, extreme footwork, good sportsmanship, and anticipation to make the game work for their team. That motivates you to play like that too, and increases your knowledge of the game. When you watch people playing quality soccer, it is a known fact that you will play better soccer too.
