Middle school celebrations

Our middle school teachers and administrative team hosted 19 students this week for a celebration of their hard work on MAP testing! It was a great event!

One School, One Book

For the past few weeks our students have been reading together as part of the One School, One Book project. It's time to celebrate! Each grade level will have a special event to celebrate the culmination of this project.

Staff Spotlight

Ms. Rebecca Miculinich (Ms. M!) teaches high school science and sponsors our VLA Student Ambassadors organization. She has her MS from Clemson University and her PhD from Ohio State.


"VLA is a special place for so many reasons. I firmly believe that virtual learning can be just as enriching and as impactful as the traditional classroom! Helping our students grow and continue to make progress toward their academic and life goals is the favorite part of my job.
