Bucket Fillers - 40 YEARS OF BUCCANEERS!
- KUDOS our Art Teachers for planning and executing the Only One You Art Installation at the front of the school! A special THANK YOU to Catherine Trosclair who wears many hats: including chair of the Mt. Bethel PTA Grounds Committee! She spearhead Saturday's Kitchen Garden and Grounds Clean-Up!!!
- TAKE A BOW Heather Mullins, Cindi Cabral, Jen Sigmund, Michelle Boutwell & Ann Saour!!! This group traveled to Decatur on Wednesday to receive advanced OG Training focused on Vowel Teams! They have been recognized as leaders in implementation of OG in the public school setting!
- A STANDING OVATION to Our Staff Leading FACT Programs! Leading classes of "school after school" not only provides enrichment for our students, but resources and funding for our Foundation! Special shout-out, as well, to those who have offered their classrooms for meeting space!

Iowa Testing
YOU MAY WEAR JEANS ON ANY DAY OF Iowa!
- Monday, 9/18 = Math & Computation
- Tuesday, 9/19 = Science & Social Studies
Please note:
- Iowa test runs longer than CogAT.
- Plan for testing to take place from 8:00 AM- 10:30/11:00 AM.
- Please limit unsupervised students in the hallways between 8-11.
- A Remind text will be sent out students may travel to Target. Remind Target students when transitioning to stay very quiet in the hallways b/c some small groups may still be testing.

CTLS-Assess: Next Steps
- Administer one additional Mini-Touchstone in Math (or an additional subject) before Fall Break.
- Administer the full MATH Touchstone by October 9th. You will then have the report available for parents at conferences if you choose to share it.
- Next session with Carrie Lowery: October 10th @ Planning: Test Builder & Selected Response.
