MSA's Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, April 22nd at 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School classroom. As always the focus of the meeting is the presentation of the annual compilation report by Argo and Associates, certified public accountants. This provides an opportunity for stakeholders to see the use of each tuition dollar.
The board of trustees is currently accepting nominations for open positions for the 2021-22 school year. If you are interested in volunteering your time and expertise to advance MSA, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you know someone with knowledge and experience in finance, marketing, human resources, or other essential business skills, please nominate them by email as well. All nominations should include a bit of background regarding the relevant business training and experience as well as contact information.
Please share the benefits of Montessori with family, friends, and neighbors, encouraging them to come for a tour. With parents seeking the best options for their children for next year, offer them the best-kept secret in Anderson for the past 48 years - a Montessori School of Anderson education.

Inclement Weather/Reverse Notification System:
Should inclement weather prevent normal operations at Montessori School of Anderson, you will be notified via the school's Reverse Notification system. All information was obtained from the MSA Data Sheet that you submitted for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Should your students' contact information change, please notify the Main Office or email@example.com asap so the information can be updated.
Additionally, MSA usually follows District 5 for any inclement weather closings or delays. Occasionally, MSA will make an independent decision due to unforeseen circumstances or scenarios that affect our MSA community alone. Information for any modification in schedule may be found on the MSA website, www.msasc.org and on local media and news outlets which include Channel 4 WYFF, WSPA-Channel 7, FOX news-Channel 12 and MSA's facebook page.
***In case of a 2-hour delay--school will open at 10:00 am; there will be NO early arrival.
Please note: The Reverse Notification system will only be utilized and activated for emergency situations or school closures.
Should your student(s) or anyone in your household have a diagnosis of Covid positive or a Direct or Indirect contact to a person diagnosed with Covid, please notify MSA immediately so we can take the proper course of action to reduce the rate of transmission on the MSA campus. MSA Infectious Disease Policy:
Children are expected to be in good health when in school. All students must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school (without taking fever-reducing medication). Absences; excused or unexcused will be recorded for all students. Any student experiencing a fever greater than 100.4°F, vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, or simply feeling too poorly to focus or concentrate on classwork, will be removed from the classroom. His/her parents/caregiver will be called to pick up the child. The child should be isolated until the parent arrives. No student will be allowed to leave campus without the direct consent of the parent/guardian.
COVID Change: Any student (or faculty/staff) who is diagnosed as COVID-19
positive will be reported to SC DHEC and MSA will follow their guidelines for when the student may return to school and whether others must be isolated/quarantined.
