Principal Message

Hello Coyote Families,

We are excited to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. Whether your student is starting school at Sunset Ranch with our new and improved Distance Learning Model or with Rocklin Virtual Campus (RVCing @ SRES), we are all in this together. Together we will ensure our students grow and are cared for socially, emotionally, and academically. I know there are many questions about the start of school and we are committed to providing detailed answers as soon as possible. Thanks for all you do to support our Sunset Ranch community!

AERIES DATA CONFIRMATION - CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

To-Do Starting August 3, 2020:

The data confirmation process for Rocklin Unified School District will open on August 3rd on the parent portal in Aeries. This process is designed to ensure all student demographic and contact information is reviewed and updated each year. Please be sure to complete this process as soon as possible, including printing, signing and returning the walking field trip form to your student(s) teacher as soon as school opens back up on site. This will need to be completed for each student before you can view who your student’s teacher is in the Aeries Parent Portal for the 2020-2021 school year. Class Assignments are open on Aeries Parent Portal starting on Friday, August 7, 2020 after 5:00 p.m. so be sure to get your students Data Confirmation completed to view the teacher.

2019-2020 Yearbook Distribution Round II

Please come to the office door to pick up and if needed pay (Cash Only) for your student yearbooks. We still have some softcover ($20) and hardcover ($25) books for purchase as well. Please maintain physical distancing and wear face coverings. If this time does not work for you, we will be able to distribute yearbooks again once the office officially opens. Stay tuned. Back to School Supplies

Traditionally, we have provided a suggested list of supplies by grade level. As soon as teachers return to school, we will discuss recommended school supplies and will communicate with you as soon as possible. At this time, please focus on what your student will need at home for distance learning or RVCing. We recommend creating a special space just for school that is free from distractions.


If you are in need of supplies, please contact Cachet Abedi @ cabedi@rocklinusd.org or call 916-624-2048 to arrange for pick up. We have backbacks filled with various supplies thanks to our community partners.
