This resource is comprised of 3 main sections: “Where in the World,” “Thumbs Up,” and a “GeoQuestion.” Occasionally, DailyGeo includes one of the following special sections: “Maps Do it Better,” “A Cartographer’s Quandary” and “The Arternative World.” DailyGeo is delivered straight to your inbox Monday through Friday.

TN State Library and Archives Summer 2021 Teacher Institute

The Tennessee State Library and Archives is delighted to announce that we will be hosting an in-person Summer Teacher Institute from June 8-9 in our brand-new facility in Nashville. Their focus for the institute will be on celebrating Tennessee's 225 birthday, so teachers specializing in 4th, 5th, 8th, and high school American history are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by April 16, 2021. Selected participants will be notified by April 30.

NCGE provides daily questions for APHG teachers to use in their classrooms which focus on the essential concepts of each weekly unit throughout the school year for the length of the course. Webinars focused on best practices and strategies for teaching APHG also available periodically throughout the year.
