Senior News Update
Dress code for graduation
•Everyone will wear dark shoes. The color can be black or brown. No flip-flops or tennis shoes please.
•The cap is worn on the top of the head with the board parallel to the ground. The tassel should hang over the front right side.
•Ladies, wear a dress or skirt and blouse. The dress or skirt should not be visible below the hem of your gown. No slacks or shorts, please.
•Gentlemen, wear dark slacks and a white or light-colored shirt with a tie.
•Since the purpose of the cap and gown is dignity and uniformity, you cannot alter them with writing or other forms of decoration.
Senior Scholarship Night
This is a cap and gown event. Seniors should arrive by 6:15pm and line up with the class to walk in together.
**If you have received a scholarship from your college or an organization, you need to email or bring a copy of the award letter to Ms. Miller by Friday, May 19th. Seniors who have turned in their award letter to Ms. Miller will be recognized at Senior Scholarship Night for their scholarship. Seniors are recognized for the scholarships they use, not for all the scholarships they are offered. If you do not turn in your letter, you will not be recognized. Please see Ms. Morris or Ms. Miller if you have any questions.
**Academic Excellence will also be recognized at Senior Scholarship Night. Seniors with a weighted 3.5 GPA or higher will be recognized. These students received a special invitation.
