This week was great, but as I'm sure you know by talking with your child/children, a very demanding week due to our CMAS testing. I'm sure your kids are going to be coming home exhausted and ready for a well deserved weekend! This week I will keep it short. I really just wanted to take a quick minute to applaud your children. They came in this week and did an amazing job during CMAS. We are so proud of them!


Also, I would like to extend an invitation to join us for our parent partnership meeting this Tuesday @ 5:00 p.m. The meeting is over Zoom to make it more convenient for working and busy parents! The zoom link for the meeting is:

Attention Outdoor Lab Parents!

If your child will be taking medications at Outdoor Lab please submit The Extended Field Trip Medication Form below to the Health Office by Friday, May 13th.

2022 Jefferson Foundation Middle School Art Show through May 12th

It is nice to be back at Lakewood Cultural Center after two years without an in-person show!


This show has over 300 pieces of Jeffco Middle School art on exhibit this year and Manning Art Students cleaned up on awards! Help us congratulate and go and see the award winning pieces by the following students!

Open Positions for Manning PTA 2022 - 2023

Did your student enjoy the Skate City night? Do they enjoy playing basketball, soccer, tossing a football at recess? Did they partake in the Halloween festivities - candy fundraiser and treat? Did your family have fun at Back to School night? Do you appreciate everything the teachers do for our kiddos? If your answer is YES to any of the above, then please consider volunteering to serve on PTA for the 2022-2023 school year. We need YOU!


After two long pandemic years, our future looks bright; it’s a great time to make new connections and get involved! Whether you want to lead the pack or plan a picnic, we have a place for you. Golden High School Mountain Bike Team

Are you an 8th grader who will be going to Golden High School and interested in joining the GHS Mountain Bike Team?


On April 28th at 6:00 pm, there will be a meeting for all students and parents who would like to participate in the Fall 2022 program. Come and find out all about practice times and what mountain bike racing is like at the high school level.


The meeting will be held both Virtually and In Person so you can attend whichever is best for you.

Golden High School Mountain Bike Team Coach

Attention 8th grade girls going to WRHS interested in playing volleyball next year!

Starting May 3rd, you are invited to participate in WRHS volleyball practices for the entire month of May on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The only exception is that the Thurs. May 5th practice got moved to Fri. May 6th. Stay tuned for information on practices in June and July.


WHEN: Every Tues./Thurs. in May, starting Tues. May 3rd, 4:00-6:00pm

The Fencing Academy of Denver's Scholastic Fencing League is leading the Manning Fencing Club again this spring!


Classes will start Friday, April 8th, and will meet every Friday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in the Manning Small Gym.



COST: $150 for a 6 week session

CLASS DATES: April 8, 15, 29, May 6, 13, and 20th. No class on April 22nd.
