GRADE 3-5 EOGs THIS WEEK
Monday, June 18: Reading Grade 3-5
Tuesday, June 19: Math Grade 3-5
Wednesday, June 20: Science Grade 5
Please be sure that if you have a student in these grades that your child:
- Gets a good night of sleep
- Eats a balanced breakfast
- Arrives at school on time
End of Grade Tests will begin promptly at 9:30. If your child does not arrive by 9:15 to receive test prep procedures they will not be ready for the test administration and will have to make up the test as they WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE CLASS AFTER TEST ADMINISTRATION BEGINS.
In addition, All Track 2, 3, & 4 Second Grade will be taking Case 21 assessments this week. Please be on the lookout for instructions from your teacher as to when they will be administered.

- Thanks to Houston Hill in Mrs. Larson's class for his RAK taking it upon himself to pull weeds around the school marquis. It looks sooo much better. Much appreciated, Houston!
If you see a student, staff or parent doing something extraordinary at our school please let me know so that we can give them a SHOUT OUT.

PANTHER NEWS
Please consider attending this Tuesdays PTA meeting at 8:15am to learn of the new happenings for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. The general members will vote in the new PTA disbursement treasurer, Ms Janice Page. A big thank you to Dawn Goodwin for supporting our PTA for the past two years! Additionally, the PTA will disburse the new budget for approval. The 2018-2019 budget has been posted on the PUE PTA homepage at puepta.com. Any questions should be directed to PTA President Heather Wilson at pueptaschool@gmail.com.

Please alert our Data Manager Mrs. Baginski (jbaginski@wcpss.net) or the PUE Front Office ASAP if your child is NOT returning to PUE or WCPSS for the upcoming 2018-19 school year ~ (ie Charter/Private/Moving out of county) ~ WCPSS requires a signed note or an email from the parent stating that your child is NOT returning to our school(s). Please submit the NEW SCHOOL information to Mrs. Baginski (jbaginski@wcpss.net).
TIME TO UPDATE BUS SERVICE NEEDS FOR 2018-19: The Transportation Department of the Wake County Public School System has begun to get ready for the 2018-19 school year. The Transportation Department is contacting current bus riders by phone and email asking them to go online to make Transportation aware of their changing needs. Go to UPDATE BUS SERVICE NEEDS so that you are ready for the 2018-19 school year.

BOW TIME RETURNING TO PUE
Would your child or children be interested in learning to play the violin or viola? If so please, complete a brief survey to determine if we have enough prospective participants to set up an after school program. Also check out Bow Time, to find out more about the program. This program is also available to students during track out weeks.
