Meet the Student Teacher!
Hi There! My name is Jamie Kloth and I am very excited to be student teaching in Mr. Johnson’s art classes and I am looking forward to working with you and your son/daughter this school year! Before the first day of school though, I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
I live in Chicago with my sweet beagle, named Cassie. I love living here, and my favorite place in the city is the Art Institute of Chicago! Currently, I am majoring in Art Education and will be graduating from St. Xavier University in May. It amazes me that soon, I’ll have an art classroom of my own! I have always had a passion for art starting at an early age. My mother is an artist and has always encouraged me to delve into my creative, artistic side. Not only do I have a passion for art, but I also have a passion for teaching. I love working with children, and I am so happy that I will be able to aid your son/daughter to explore his/her creative side and become a little artist!
Though I am passionate about art, I also have other passions. Some other passions of mine are theatre and public speaking. While I student teach here, I will be helping out with the drama/speech club!
I am so fortunate to be given the opportunity to work with your son/daughter. I am confident that my time here will be one I will never forget. Mr. Johnson and I have been working hard to create a fun, innovative learning environment for your son/daughter, and we cannot wait for him/her to see!
I am excited for the school year, and I hope you are to! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and/or Mr. Johnson.
