Ebinport Family Engagement Survey

It is hard to believe that it is already October! The first month of school has flown by. Whether you are virtual or face to face, we hope that you and your family are staying healthy and safe as we adjust to this new normal. The teachers and staff at Ebinport appreciate all of the support that you have given to make this year successful.

Over the past few years, Ebinport Elementary School has worked very hard to improve communication and family engagement. These have been focus areas for Mrs. Kelsey, Mrs. Lowdermilk, all Ebinport teachers, and our School Improvement Council. Because of our unique situation this school year, we want to make sure that you continue to stay informed and engaged. Please fill out this brief survey. It will close on October 23, 2020. Your answers will help us determine areas for improvement. Thank you for your time!

Reserve the Spirit Rock for your Eagle!

Families, did you know you can reserve our Spirit Rock to celebrate your Eagle?! This is a fundraiser for PTO and the cost is $20 to reserve one week (Sunday-Saturday). You can paint the rock to celebrate your student's birthday or share a special message. Contact Ebinport PTO President, Mrs. Heather Robinson, at hrobinson@rhmail.org to check availability and reserve the rock.

  • A Virtual Fair so you and your kids can experience the magic of the school shopping experience. Browse titles by grade, meet popular authors, and discover the comfort and joy of our Fair
  • Every dollar you spend will benefit our school directly (25% back in rewards!)

Save these dates and view our school’s Fair site:

COVID-19 Communication

Please contact an administrator or the school nurse (Rhonda Cranford, RN, direct line:803-981-1564) if your student tests positive for Covid-19 or is in close contact with a person who has tested positive.

Communication this school year is key in the prevention and spread of the Covid-19 virus.

What does it mean to be a close contact of someone with COVID-19?

Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of someone who tested positive for COVID-19 for at least several minutes (usually about 15 minutes). The virus is spread primarily from person to person through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks. It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth or nose. That is why it is so important to wash your hands often and clean frequently touched surfaces at least daily.
