Greed. Greed never changes.
Greed Poems.
This poem was done by Sylvia titled Greed it can be found www.PoemHunter.com
The reason this poem works is because, it explains what greed really is. It talks about how truly rotten it really is. It explains what starts talking about what could cause it. The poem even talks about how dangerous and sneaky greed is. The poem does also talk about how greed can happen to just about anyone.
Music on Greed
The way the music works with my theme is it starts talking about wanting money. It talks about how humanity can fall from greed. The song says that greed can do nothing beneficial to a person. It says that greed can't do anything good for someone. It repeats itself on how dangerous and evil it is.
Quote 1 on greed
"Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed."
-Mahatma Gandhi

What I think this quote means is that we have been given something to help us live. Only we started taking more and more than we deserve. Since greed is something that involves wanting more and more. I believe it says that the earth can give what we need but, not what we want. So what he saying is the life can't satisfy our greed no matter how much we take.
Quote 2 on greed
"There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage and some wisdom, blended in measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world."
-J.R.R. Tolkien

J.R.R Tolkien is a famous author who has written the Lord Of The Rings franchise who is saying if we didn't value greed we would be happier. The quote is saying that courage and wisdom is something to be headed. He saying if we cared more about being happy rather than greedy than we would live better. That the world would be a better place if greed never existed.
Quote 3 on greed
"Do nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves."
-Hoarce Mann
http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/greed
Hoarce Mann is saying that if we don't do something for someone and act greedy then we're killing ourselves. It's a dark thought that can come to mind. He saying that if we act greedy instead of being a good person we are undoing our lives. If anything greed is killing us more and more than anyone knows. So we can't let greed control our lives and kill us slowly, so we must give things we don't need to someone who does need it.

Paris (AFP) - Pope Francis on Thursday called on the world to reject the "idolatry of money", claiming that greed was driving societies to ruin.
In an interview in his modest apartment in the Vatican, the pope told the glossy French magazine Paris Match that the world economic system as it stands was "unsustainable".
"Capitalism and profit are not diabolical if we don't turn them into idols. They are not if we just leave them as tools," he said.
"Nevertheless, if money and profit at any price become the idols that we adore, and if greed is the basis of our social and economic system, then our societies are heading towards ruin."
Greed
Avaritia (Greed), 1558
Pieter van der Heyden after Pieter Bruegel the Elder (Netherlandish, ca. 1525–1569)

Representing the vice of greed, this image belongs to a series of prints of the Seven Deadly Sins, engraved by Pieter van der Heyden after drawings by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. The personification of greed, a fashionably dressed woman, sits in the central foreground blithely gathering coins in her lap, while a poisonous toad lurks directly in front of her. The various examples of greedy behavior and its unfortunate consequences, in evidence in the surrounding landscape, effectively demonstrate the message of the inscription below: "Scraping Avarice sees neither honor nor courtesy, shame nor divine admonition."
