Exchange information:

1) If you have registered before the deadline of November 24 you will receive an email on November 25 with the person that has been randomly chosen for you. This person should be in YOUR building, so it is crucial you have signed up for the right building.

2) Your job is to then purchase 4 gifts to be secretly given to your chosen one on December 15, 16, 17, and 18. Try to be creative with your delivery (leave it on his/her desk, in the teachers' lounge, in his/her mailbox, etc). These gifts should not be more than $10 each. Traditionally, a larger gift is given on the last day (Friday, Dec. 18) at which time your identity is revealed (you choose how).

3) Spread the joy of the season!

Awesome Box at the WMS Villa Nova Library

When a student returns a library book, if she/he loved the book, she/he puts it in the Awesome Box. They scan the book's ISBN, and the title and cover appear on our Awesome Box web page. When students click on the book's cover on the Awesome page, they go directly to our library catalog to learn more about the book and its availability. So far students are taking it seriously and distinguishing between a "good book" and an "awesome" one.

You can check it out for yourself at http:/www.VillaNova2000.awesomebox.io

Family Night Information

WMS Family Night will be happening on Wednesday, December 2 from 5-7pm. This third annual event features activities and exhibits from the various content areas and service providers of our school. It connects students, families, teachers and community organizations in a fun, educational event. The family night committee is hard at work gathering donations for food and prizes, as well as securing the logistics of the night.

Nevertheless, we are looking to get a representation from each content area for the evening and need to know who to expect. Please respond to rpolacek@woonsocketschools.com if you plan on attending.
