FJVD Weekly Info
We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
We have completed our second full week of school!
With the initial teaching of routines and procedures complete, it's incredible to see the work our students are completing in these early weeks of the school year. If you were walking the halls this week you would see students learning new sight words in 1st grade, reading maps in 4th grade, and exploring the works of St. Thomas Aquinas in middle school. Not to mention others beginning their first novel studies, tackling geometry problems, and practicing their conversational Spanish. Great work, everyone!
Also, thank you to all who came out to join us for our 8th Annual Car Show and Vendor Fair this past weekend! We were once again blessed with a beautiful day, and it was wonderful to see so many families together enjoying this spectacular event. A special thank you to all of our staff, parent, and community volunteers who make this event possible! Check out a few photos below!

Walkathon 2022 - Fundraising Continues - THANK YOU!
Our annual Walkathon is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27th, and I'm thrilled to share that we have already raised over $10,000 towards supporting student needs including textbooks, learning programs and materials, and upgrades to our outdoor recess space! Last year, we were able to transform our Learning Center into an amazing space for use by all of our students, and we look forward to more improvements in the year ahead. Thank you so much for your support! To donate, click here: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/fjvd22

The cost for Morning Care is $4 per day; $2.00 for siblings and you will receive a monthly bill the first week of the following month. Thank you!
Lastly, a reminder that Friday, September 23rd is an 11:30am dismissal day due to faculty & staff trainings. Dismissal will begin at 11:30am, and busses will run at that time. There is no extended day care on Friday, 9/23. Thank you!
