Big picture

Week Of Worship

Each Week of Worship brings blessings and surprises to our students. This week we had five different speakers on our campus, bringing us our message for each day. We heard from five pastors that each shared their experience of how God has used His word to affect their lives. This year we will continue learning how "the Word of God is living and powerful". After our worship each morning the pastors were able to visit classrooms to pray with students. They also passed out hand sanitizers to each of the students.

The Sword Fight

Sword Fight

It is not everyday that a sword fight takes place at KAES. Today we had a sword fight, where four of our fastest sword fighters from middle school fought our pastoral team after our morning Week of Worship. Okay, as you may have guessed we are talking about Bible swords. The champion of the each battle was determined by who could find any said Bible verse fastest. KAES students have been practicing their Bible sword drills each day at the end of our WOW meetings. It was a close fight and I think the pastoral team was surprised by the speed and quickness of our students, and in the end KAES students were able to squeak out a win in the final battle. There has already been a call for reinforcements for a rematch in the spring after all have trained throughout the year. Watch out, these little disciples are growing in strength.

School Pictures Wednesday, Sept. 2

This Wednesday we will take our school pictures for the 2020-2021 school year. These pictures will be used for the school yearbook. Please dress your child in their chapel uniform for this day. Pictures will begin immediately after chapel. Remember we will have a second picture day in the spring and your child will not have to wear the school uniform.

Friday T-Shirts

Friday T-Shirts are still available at the office. Every student is eligible to receive a free t-shirt but you must pick it up at the school office. All sizes are available but will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Additional shirts can be purchased for parents, grandparents and other family members for $12.

Connect with your KAES family at the Outdoor Bible Adventure Vespers

This Saturday, August 29 at 6:45-7:45 pm is our Outdoor Bible Adventure Vespers. This will be a great time to connect with other KAES families. It will be held in the Keene Adventist Church lower parking lot. Bring your lawn chairs, chalk and ideas how to decorate your space depicting Bible scriptures. Let's see who can guess your illustrated story.

Athletics Pre-season Zoom Meeting for All Parents and Students in the program

With sport beginning we want to have a player/parent zoom meeting at 6:30 pm. We will outline the expectations for players and fans (parents), discuss how to interact with the coaches and the athletic director and update you on Covid-19 procedures. Look for the zoom link in your email.

How do I pick up my child after dismissal is over?

If your child is not picked up during dismissal they well go to after school care.

If you are picking up your child before 4pm you will need to go to the school office to pick up your child.

If you are picking up after 4pm you can pick up at the preschool outside classroom door. This is the first classroom on the west side of the elementary building.
