There were 2 poor fellows named George and Lennie. Lennie is a childlike man and George is a itinerant worker. Both of them end up finding work in a ranch. But there friendship may come in conflict when a beautiful women threatens there dreams of owning there own farm.

Born Feb 27,1902 John Steinbeck grew up in Salinas,California. He never completed college because he had to work before achieving his dream of being a writer.He wrote his first novel in 1939 called 'The Grapes of Wrath'.
