No School Monday

Monday, October 10 is a HOLIDAY for all MISD schools. Classes will resume on Tuesday, 10/11.

Mansfield Fire Department "Fire Safety Clowns" Program

The MFD Fire Safety Clowns will be here on Tuesday to teach our PreK-1st graders about fire safety. Our kids always enjoy this show! The fireman will be very clear with the students that they are simply regular, good people wearing funny clothing.

3rd Grade Music Program

WBE 3rd Graders will present their musical "Hats!" on Thursday beginning at 7:00. You won't want to miss this performance!

MHS Gold Dusters Dance Clinic

The MHS Gold Dusters Varsity Drill team is holding a dance clinic on Saturday, 10/8. Registration form here.

Red Ribbon/No Bullying Week Oct. 24-31

At the end of the month we will be recognizing Red Ribbon and No Bullying Week. One way to bring attention to this cause is through fun dress days.

Monday 10/24 - "Our future is SO bright without drugs!" - wear neon and sunglasses with your red ribbon

Tuesday 10/25 - "Be all that you can be...drug free!" wear camouflage

Wednesday 10/26 - "Stay away from drugs and your dreams will come true" wear pajamas

Thursday 10/27 - "Be a hero, don't do drugs!" wear super hero shirt

Friday 10/28 - student holiday

Monday 10/31 - "Orange you glad you are a great student!" wear Halloween shirt or Orange

Kirk Franklin in Concert - tickets on sale at WBE!

Ten-time Grammy Award winner Kirk Franklin will be performing on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at 8 p.m. at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert will feature select MISD choir students and the All-District High School Gospel Choir as the opening acts. Also performing will be a collective choir from Mansfield area churches.

All proceeds will benefit the MISD Center Arts Program, which brings in art performances and cultural events to the students of MISD and the community.

Tickets can be purchased at WBE! Get your tickets before they are gone!

MHS Parent's Night Out

We are excited to announce the first Parents Night Out at Mansfield High School on November 18, 2016. This event is a way to raise funds for our Annual Gold Rush/After Prom event.

Important Information for you…

Location: - Mansfield High School Cafeteria

Time: 6-10pm

Activities: Christmas Movies, Bounce Houses, age appropriate games

and a special appearance from Santa

Food: Pizza, Water, and Popcorn

Ages: 4-12 years old

We will have adult and student volunteers to watch and play with the kids. Children will need to be signed in and out by the same adult and are not required to stay the entire time offered.

RSVPs are preferred but drop ins are welcome.
