Be Homeful Project
My name is Grace Furia and I am a 6th grader doing a project on homelessness for my Quest project. In addition to learning about homelessness, I am doing a community service project. The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness does many fundraisers. One of them is the Be Homeful Project and I have created a team. The link for my team page can be accessed by clicking on the link: https://www.crowdrise.com/greaterhartfordcan/fundraiser/gracefuria

The CT Breast Health Initiative Holds 13th Annual CT RACE IN THE PARK!
The CT RACE IN THE PARK takes place annually each May on the Saturday before Mother’s Day in New Britain’s historic Walnut Hill Park. This year, the race will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016, rain or shine! Each year, thousands gather to participate in race day festivities and events while honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, celebrating life and most importantly, raising much needed funds to advance the fight against breast cancer in Connecticut. By joining The Race, pledging your support or becoming a valuable sponsor, you help raise awareness and funds to support the fight against breast cancer. 100% raised in Connecticut stays in Connecticut. Join The Race. Join the cause.
The RACE includes the male/female 5K Run at 9:15 am, 1 Mile/4K Walks at 10:15 am, 4 Kids’ Races, live music, food, kids’ games, and our famous Touch A Truck. Come join the fun!
