Holiday Gifts
Transition students made soy candles. They utilized their measuring and cooking skills to complete the process. Students followed step-by-step directions and created unique gifts for family and friends.
1. Prepared jars.
2. Measured out the wax.
3. Melted wax in pouring pot.
4. While wax cooled, prepared the wicks.
5. Allowed wax to cool to roughly 130ºF.
6. Poured wax slowly into prepared jars.
6. Garnished the top with flowers before wax hardened.
