Holiday Gifts
1. Prepared jars.
2. Measured out the wax.
3. Melted wax in pouring pot.
4. While wax cooled, prepared the wicks.
5. Allowed wax to cool to roughly 130ºF.
6. Poured wax slowly into prepared jars.
6. Garnished the top with flowers before wax hardened.
Living on Minimum Wage Project
Students completed a living on minimum wage project. They researched and selected a location to live, determined utility prices, looked up insurance costs, and averaged monthly grocery bills. They had to budget their minimum wage income with all their costs and determine if they were positive or negative at the end of the month.
