Meal Application Form

FREE MEALS FOR ALL STUDENTS

School meals for the 2022-2023 school year will be available to all students at no charge. Although all students will receive free meals through the duration of this school year, we request for all families to complete this Online Free / Reduced Meal Eligibility for School Year 2022-2023 form, as this form affects a variety of areas unrelated to school meals, including school funding, college application fees, SAT fees, bus passes and more. Even if your child does not plan to eat school lunches, it is important to fill out this form to help ensure our schools and families receive the available resources.

Student Accident & Sickness Insurance

The safety of our students is of critical importance to all of us and we want to protect them from injury. Please click here for the district letter. Click on this link for information on Student Accident and Sickness Insurance.

Campus Safety Assistants Needed!

Paid Positions

We are in need of Campus Safety Assistants. If you or someone you know (18 years of age or older) are interested in a part-time, flexible, paid position at the school, please contact Karen Meyer, our wonderful Office Manager, at kmeyer@conejousd.org.

School Site Council Members Needed!

Volunteer Positions

Want to have an inside view and voice on the decision making team here at Wildwood Elementary? Of course you do! We currently have openings for the following positions on our SSC team.

  • Parent Members (4 openings)
  • (DAC) District Advisory Council Representative
  • (AADAC) African American District Advisory Council Representative
  • (DELAC) District English Learners Advisory Council Representative
  • (GATE-DAC) Gifted and Talented Education District Advisory Council Representative
The commitment is usually just 1-2 hours per month, but the impact is significant. You can even join our 1-hour monthly Zoom meeting from the comfort of your home. Please shoot me an email to express interest and/or learn more at klynch@conejousd.org. We would like to have our team in place before our first monthly SSC meeting in September.

Visitors & Volunteers

My mother always told me "Many hands make light work", and that's certainly true in education. We want you on campus with us! All adults entering the campus during school hours must sign in electronically with their picture ID in the front office and obtain a visitor or volunteer badge/sticker to be worn at all times while on campus. All volunteers who work with students must have a current TB test or a Risk Assessment Questionnaire on file as well. If you would like to volunteer on campus, and we hope you do, please complete and return the Volunteer Registration Authorization Packet that will be sent home with students on the first day of school. Attach a copy of your license/ID to the packet, or we will make a copy for you in the office on your first visit.

Attendance

If your child will be absent or arriving late for any reason, please remember to call our office or leave a message on our attendance line at (805) 492-3531 before 8:30am. Be sure to state the date and reason for your child’s absence or late arrival, and your child’s teacher or room number. Any unexcused absence is counted as a truancy. Students are allowed only three truancies per year before action is taken. Planning ahead with your child will also help to avoid unnecessary tardiness. Students who arrive on time feel better about themselves and perform better in the classroom.

School Supply Lists

Did you miss the August 5th deadline for pre-ordering school supply packs? Not to worry. Click on the links below to access our grade level school supply lists for the 2022-2023 school year.
