Week 7 of At Home Learning
The month of April has come to a close and here we are in the home stretch of the 2019-2020 school year. While the ending of a school year is often a bittersweet moment with lots of exciting and fascinating things happening, it is our hope that each and every one of our students will enjoy some exciting spring activities that will make this time just as memorable for them. Please take time to enjoy the little things and most of all each other. Our state will soon start returning back to some resemblance of normal per Governor Greg Abbott. It is our hope that you all are safe and take the necessary precautions as things start to open. If we can be of any assistance or answer any of your questions, please know we are here for you.
Week 6 was a much needed change of pace for us all! It was our plan to give you the parents and kids a break. Change is never easy and we wanted you all to realize that we hear you and appreciate all of your hard work and effort. Thanks for sending us pictures of your finished work! Keep sending us any student pictures of the kids working, playing, exercising, or any hobbies that they are partaking in as we continue on with At Home Learning! There are no changes in the curriculum as we get "back to work" this week. If you're having issues with understanding the work, please let us know so we can help. Other than that, keep up the excellent work!
Please take the time to check the newsletter for new and important information from Mrs. Fowler.

Week 7 of at Home learning
What a fun week six was!! We enjoyed seeing all of your kitchen skills as you created piping hot, delicious cookies mixed in with a little Science,Social Studies,Social Skills,ELAR and Math!! You all did a stupendous job!!
We are forging onward into our new “norm” of At Home Learning. We will be continuing our learning in Week 7 in either Moby Max or through Paper Packets. There is a little twist to our curriculum this week. Each student in Ms. Kelton’s class has been mailed two letters to complete. Each student will be asked to appropriately address the envelope and write a short letter to their assigned people. This simple project will provide each student with the hands~on life experience of writing and mailing letters and will surely help to put a little sunshine in the recipients day!!
Please don’t forget to join our class Zoom meetings at 6 p.m. each Tuesday as it allows our classroom staff and students the opportunity to connect with each other virtually. It’s always a great joy seeing each and every one of you!!
Also, Mr.Lancaster and I will be sending out random PoP~Up activities each week to add some fun to At Home Learning. Please watch for those exciting and sometimes zany texts!! Each participant will have their name entered into a drawing for a Boredom Buster (Board Game) or other special treat.
Keep up the good work, keep washing your hands and being excellent to each other.
Remember, we’re only a phone call or text away.
Love, Ms.Kelton & Crew
