Nuclear Fusion Press Release
December 17th, 2015
WHO AM I?
HOW DOES NUCLEAR FUSION PRODUCE ENERGY?
Nuclear fusion and nuclear fission are very different. Nuclear fusion is when two atoms combine to create energy. Nuclear fission is when two atoms separate to create energy. Usually nuclear fusions creates more energy than nuclear fission.
SAFETY CONCERNS AND PRECAUTIONS WHEN DEALING WITH NUCLEAR FUSION
-radiation accidents-Could release tritium
-Could cause a fuel meltdown
-No limitations on energy and no excess of greenhouse gases
