Loy Krathong

A Special Thai Celebration

Loy Loy Krathong

Thank you to Rungtip, Run's Mom, who came in to our class on Wednesday to share more about a very special holiday celebrated in our host country, Thailand.

Rungtip gave a brief presentation about Loy Krathong, the history and why it is a special holiday to Thai people. She led our class in the song both English and Thai versions.

Afterward students made their own krathongs to set sail that evening.

Thank you Rungtip
