CMS News & Notes May 2023 (Final Edition)
Message from the Principal - Mr. Sullivan
As we bid farewell to another school year, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the achievements, growth, and personal milestones your child has experienced. Celebrate their accomplishments and the valuable life lessons they have learned along the way. Your role as a parent or guardian has been instrumental in their success, and we want to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts you have made in supporting their educational journey.
As the summer break approaches, I encourage you to take this time to relax, rejuvenate, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. Cherish the moments spent together, explore new interests, and embrace the joy that comes with this well-deserved break.
Have a great summer!

Spring Glow Dance Success
The Spring Glow Dance was an absolute success! It was a night filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories as our students came together to celebrate the end of the year.
The dance floor was alive with energy as our talented DJ kept the beats pumping and the atmosphere electric. The neon lights and glow-in-the-dark decorations created a captivating ambiance that added to the enchantment of the evening. Throughout the night, students enjoyed dancing, socializing, and letting loose with their friends. It was heartwarming to see the joy and camaraderie shared among them.
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the organizing committee, parent volunteers, and dedicated staff members who worked tirelessly to ensure that the event ran smoothly. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our students were truly commendable.
We want to express our gratitude to the students who attended the dance. Your positive attitude, respectful behavior, and enthusiasm contributed to the overall success of the event. Seeing your smiling faces and hearing your laughter reminded us of the wonderful community we have at our school.
Thank you all for your support, participation, and making the Spring Glow Dance a success. We look forward to hosting more memorable events in the future!
Counselor Corner - Mrs. Casey
We know that mental health and suicide can be difficult topics for anyone to discuss. One way to begin the conversation is by asking about protective factors, the aspects of life that can help reduce the risk of suicide. This works with children of all ages and even into adulthood. We have found that time in the car can provide a great opportunity for these conversations. "I know that you have been talking about personal safety and suicide at school this year. Who have you identified as your trusted adults if you are concerned about a friend's safety?"
