Follow Mrs. Karnuta's Adventures!

Mrs. Karnuta will be heading to Norway to learn more about Friluftsliv through her Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant! You can follow her on Instagram @karnutacounselor!

This spring, Mrs. Karnuta was fortunate enough to receive a grant through the Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program. This grant will allow her to travel this summer to Norway to explore, renew, and experience the Norwegian concept of friluftsliv. Friluftsliv emphasizes spending time outdoors as a way of life. Join Mrs. Karnuta on this journey to Norway as she learns about friluftsliv and how being in nature can positively impact our social-emotional health.

Mrs. Karnuta will be documenting her travels through photo journaling and entries on Instagram. Please join her on this trek! She invites you to share your own experiences with being outdoors. Use the hashtag: #beoutside
