A Message From Mrs. Burko

Hello Culbreth Community!

It was great to have your students back with us in the virtual school building. They were engaged and excited to be back, too.

I am truly honored to be a member of this community. As we came together to discuss the events in our Nation's capital on Thursday students showed compassion, thoughtfulness and a level of civic mindedness that we are all proud of.

As the second quarter winds down, please work with your student to check their grades on Power School and contact teachers if there are questions or concerns.

We are looking forward to another great week.

Yours in Service,

Mrs. April Burko

Principal

Culbreth Middle School

From the PTSA

Please join us this Tuesday, January 12th at 5 PM for a virtual Culbreth PTSA General Membership Meeting. The board will provide an update on accomplishments from last semester, discuss plans for 2021, and provide a budget update.

We will also provide information for positions we are seeking for next school year. The current President and Treasurer will be retiring from their positions and now is a great time to shadow and learn more about how you can be involved in one of the numerous Culbreth PTSA positions.

We hope to see you at the following Zoom link:

The testing window established by the state for CDM is February 15 – March 12, 2021. CHCCS will utilize the two week window of March 1st - March 12th for Phase 1 CDM assessments.

Please note that ALL Phase 1 assessments MUST be administered in a face to face environment at each student's school. There is NO exception to this per state guidelines. Each school will develop a testing plan utilizing all of the safety protocols and will provide communication to families regarding testing dates and times. This document provides details of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments.
