Abusing Women and Children

In the US and developing countries, women and children are abused based on their gender and age. The majority of situations involving abuse, women and children are the main target. Estimated 14 million girls all around the world, usually in developing countries, are married before they turn 18. Those girls marry men that are almost three times their age. There are many stories about women getting abused. For example, Oscar Pistorius, Oylmpic gold-medalist, murdered Reeva Steenkamp, his girlfriend, on Valentines Day. This is sexist because it shows how women are so easily abused and beaten using physical violence.
